CUB SCOUT PACK 256 from Shorewood, Illinois

Welcome to our website!  You are now at the PUBLIC portal of our site.  For more information regarding our Pack, please feel free to contact us by clicking on Contact Our Pack above.

If you have a child who is in Kindergarten - 5th grade and they are interested in joining scouts, you have come to the right place!

Does your child love the outdoors, curiosity & interest in the world around them, love meeting new friends, and an active imagination?  Then Scouting is for them!

Scouting embraces the outdoors through camping, hiking, and water sports.  We also focus on helping our communities through service projects, STEM development and building confident kids through our wide range of activities.  The Cub Scout program is designed to develop physical, mental, and emotional fitness.  Fitness includes the body (well-tuned and healthy), the mind (able to think and solve problems), and the emotions (self control, courage, and self-respect).

Kids are divided in to dens that are age/grade/gender appropriate.

Den meeting dates and times depend on the Den Leader.
We also have Pack Nights on the 3rd or 4th Tuesday of each month held at William B. Orenic Intermediate School.
